With Sewing to Victory

Although my mother-in-law lived in the Pfaff town (at one time the largest sewing machine manufacturer in Germany) she had a Victoria. But an “original” one!

This was a cellpic “taken on the run” with the sun blazing on the window which made it difficult to take a decent picture.

  1. I’ve never heard of a Victoria, only Singer, Bernina, and Pfaff. We had a 1950’s era Singer back in the 1970s, but no longer have any machines.

I have a friend who retired from the sewing machine industry. Machines are so much more and have so much technology these days. They even have digital screens built into the body on many models.
