Last Wednesday we went to a local pizzeria for dinner where service was good and fast and it was only 7pm when we had paid and were heading for the car to drive back. It was such a beautiful evening that I asked my husband to drive home on his own and I was going to walk home. It wasn’t a planned walk so I didn’t have a camera hence the spoils go to Cellpic Sunday.
It was truly the golden hour with fields next to the road aglow in the slowly setting sun. Time for a selfie of sorts.
I walked past the vinyards with the shadows creeping up the slope.
That’s a little brook flowing from the hills toward the valley between the houses. By now the light was fading.

No, it was still fairly balmy – too warm for the time of year, unfortunately (as good as it feels). And you caught me: that’s exactly why I take these shadow selfies. They are very stretching and slimming.
