
These three masks were displayed in the recreation hall of the hotel we were staying. I don’t know if they are typical Sardinian but the rest of the decorations (tapestries and fabrics) were, so I assume they were, too.

They do, don’t they? I’ve tried to find out a bit about them and apparently they are used during carnival time for witches, similar to the witches in Switzerland and the Black Forest in Germany.
