January was far too mild but the last couple of weeks we had a little snow and since then we had a few wonderful crispy, cold, sunny days – although the snow is all but gone.

What a beautiful view! Though I have enjoyed our recent stretch of mild weather, I know we will appreciate the snow come summer. (The dangers of living in desert.) Thanks for joining the challenge!

Always a pleasure. I’d forgotten a title for the post and your remark gave me an idea – thanks! We have a very mild climate here but even 10 km can make a distance. These patches of snow where just two hills away from where I live and we had no snow whatsoever on this occasion.
