Taxing my patience

I understand that the students on their bicycles are breaking free after being cooped up the whole morning. But why do they have to do it on my commute?

  1. Sometimes they do it deliberately. One evening a boy on a bike swerved right in front of the bus I was on, playing chicken. And one morning a boy about five ran out into the street as I was approaching and just stood there facing me, while his sisters sat at the entrance of their apartment building and watched. He stood there until I stopped, then ran back to them. Of course, if you ever hit one of them… 😦
