    1. 😁 That’s why I used “dummies” in the title, rather than pacifiers (which I find anyway too much of a grand word in terms of baby stuff). In Germany there are many different, often regional names for dummies. Do you know what they are called in Scottish?

      1. We don’t have a scots word for dummies; I’m assuming that there weren’t such things when the language was more generally spoken. Unless you’re talking about someone being a dummy (idiot), then it’s eejit 😂
