Occasionally, I come upon herons on the fields. This one was closer than normal.
When it did this
I hoped that I would have another look at a heron being a successful hunter. I had the luck to see this once, the light was bad, the bird far away, yet it was still a unique experience.
In the meantime, I keep hunting with my camera.

Good timing! Photographing animals in nature requires patience and luck – I’ve never been lucky & I’m short on patience, so I’m pretty envious 🙂
