Because the sun is so powerful, looking directly in its direction is not recommended. But occasionally, the temptation is just too great.

That lone panel that seems to be in the middle of nowhere would be powering a water pump, we use them here for that … saves trying to run electricity out to the remote locations of springs or creeks.
