On my recent bike trip I came across a so-called “Skulpturenpark” in Bad König im Odenwald.
It’s an untidy plot of land next to an industrial site in the back of the local spa garden. There are quite a lot of sculptures scattered over the plot, most of them are quite whimsical, in three or four distinctive styles and by as many artists, I think.

Oh these are wonderful art piece for this week.
Marsha is hosting this week I’ll add your link to her blog for you. 😀

Thank you. I’ll connect the post later. I was away for the weekend “with narry a thought” of blogging and I pre-scheduled the posts where I could. Glad you like them. It was an odd collection on what looked like an abandoned lot. I’m sure I’ll share some other pieces.

Elke, I love the whimsy. Lot less body parts to worry about. Don’t you love the hair? Forget a trunk and arms, but you gotta have hair, right?

There were other pieces with “natural” hair, there and in the adjacent park. I will show them in time 😀

Can’t wait. Natural hair is definitely over-rated. 🙂

Oh my goodness! These are so fabulous! love their expressions.
It sounds like they’ve been haphazardly placed and left? Do many people realise they are there behind the spa?

I don’t know. I think it was one particular artist who created this space for him and others to create but he has moved on.
