Thank you. I always wanted to drive one but opted for an e-bike instead (at least I’m moving some).

That is true, a bit of exercise and fun. I was a bit scared to hire one, I am not used to riding on the right hand side of the road or the road rules official and implied 🙂

I was used to drive on the right side when I moved to South Africa. It had no problem switching to the other side driving. However, walking was a different matter. I always looked to the wrong side when crossing a road. Probably because you do that more unconsciously. … The real test came when I was back in Germany. I tried to change gears with the window crank (we still had them, then). The worst was driving at night, when you get to a crossing, all by yourself and you have to turn. There were these moments of black panic when I didn’t know whether I was on the right or wrong side of the road.
