Thyme is wonderful for cooking (and smelling). I remember when I used to spend my summers in the South of France and my “summer family” would take me on picnics in the countryside – which of course included a barbecue. And Henry (my “summer dad”) would just go in the nearby brush and put his hand in the herbs there – and that was the flavouring for the chicken! 😀
Oh my gosh that all natural fresh from garden flavoring herbs sounds amazing (and like a good tidbit for a story)
And south of France summers sound like you had some nice days!
I think I kept smelling the thyme because it is end of winter and have been in winter mode and so this might have smelled like summer
Very good. I love what you did for this week 😀 😀

I like the color splash and side note – we just bought some fresh thyme and I could not stop smelling it last night – it was so refreshing
