In the US, certain people want to get rid of statues of people they think had bad ideas or did bad things. I’m not for that but if a statue were to be removed for damage caused to the world, this one would qualify near the top (next to any that might be around of Che Guevara.
It depends what people do with the statues. Just imagine that they would still have Nazi-Statues around in Germany (except, there never were any – Hitler didn’t approve).
