It’s the only movie I ever appeared in. I died at the end of it. This picture was a prop, standing next to the bed I was shot in. The guy was playing my boyfriend and he shot me (coming home from the border somewhere near Angola, i.e. he was a conscript soldier in South Africa’s war against the “red danger” as it was dubbed). I remember that it was all of 12 minutes long. For the life of me I do not remember the title of it. It was shot on Super 8. It was a second year project of drama students.
