We were away for a couple of days and I scheduled this post. I managed to mix up am and pm. 🙄 I’m glad you like Roussillon. When I was there as a teenager people traipsed all over it and filled decorative bottles with different shades of sands. Obviously, that would destroy the site within only a few years. Nowadays, collecting sand is strictly forbidden and you have to walk on raised boardways to preserve the area.
Oh, I forgot, you’re in the UK. In Germany they adopted Mother’s Day from the US in 1922 (my mom’s birth year). It is telling that in Germany it was introduced by the organisation of flower sellers. Which was still a heck of lot better than the political takeover by the Nazis little more than a decade later.
Even not quite Sunday here although close. Only and hour and a half to midnight 🙂
Wonderful photo love the colours 🙂

Certainly didn’t! Mothering Sunday is the 4th Sunday in Lent, so it’s long gone! But we had a good day anyway. I hope you did too.
