On Frankfurt’s north eastern side is a park, named after one of the German Romantics. The river Nidda flows through it and is divided and rejoined forming a little island in the middle of Brentano Park which in itself creates a charming little island in the middle of the city.

Frankfurt has a bad reputation about being ugly. But it has a great number of parks, in the city and a large green belt around it, I think it’s just a prejudice.
