Gold and Glass

I thought of this photo first when I read the prompt. Liquid gold. Sunset over our small lake.

But then … I thought of the glass blowers at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland.

A molten blob of glass
slowly cooling down and solidifying
shaped into a glass
let’s add a handle as long as the glass is hot and pliable
