Even in the original this almost looks like a knitted sweater straight out of the 70s.

The original photo already has elements of the impressionist, even the pointillist style. So I just enhanced this aspect.

This version is softer and blurry, even vague.

The last edit seems like a combination between bold lines and washed out colour shapes.

The editing was done with photoscape.

I like the original and the oil painting effect 🙂

Thanks. I like the impressionist style. Something for everyone, then. (I’m quite proud of myself because the photo was taken with my smartphone which hardly ever happens and it’s still good. – Actually, I’m not proud of myself because it meant that I forgot to recharge ALL my camera batteries which NEVER happened before.

I enjoy modifying photos with an artistic flair. It doesn’t always work but your image was perfect for several artistic styles. My favorite is your oil painting edit.

It’s such a classic photo that it really lends itself to artistic treatments.
