The 2CV was built by Citroën from 1948 to 1990, i.e. this one must be at least 25 years old. It was never beautiful, never strong, had its quirks – in other words: a car only an afficionado can love. Many owners today vow that they will never part with their cherished “duck” (that’s the loving nickname given to the 2CV in Germany).

This particular owner seems to be especially aware of this fact. The sign in the car reads:
Until TÜV (the German technical inspection agency) do us part.
