Nine Crawleys, Not Creepy

Three Congo chafer beetles. They looked so pretty in their enclosure. Checking up on their English name I learned that they are often kept as food for terrarium animals. (Yes, I know that the iguanas and lizards and monitors need food, too, but putting the food on display beforehand … I feel hoodwinked, somehow – or possibly even bamboozled.

Quickly move over to some archived trios of insects living in the wild.

Three wasps. Considered the twats of the insect world, at least by humans who are trying to eat their cake.
