The novel Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, also seldom comes alone. I’ve got it as an audio book and I got it in electronic form and this is my fourth or fifth paperback version. Pratchett and Gaiman both or possibly one of them mentioned that they have signed copies which were swollen as if they had been dropped in a bathtub or people mentioned that they had lent their copy to friends and never got it back. When I heard that I thought, yes, that’s me. Not returned, destroyed because I couldn’t leave it alone, my sons carried it away …
