The spiky one reminded me of a flail or maze – I don’t know what the correct term is in English. I’m thinking of the medieval weapon, that spiky ball on the end of stick and chain. In German it’s called a “morning star” (’cause that’s what you see when you’re hit with it).
Mace is the closest that I would recognise. More likely travelling to the white light at the end of the tunnel after a solid whack with a metal spiky ball
