Lily of the valley comes a bit later in the year, in May (hence it is called Maiglöckchen = may bells in German), These are called Märzenbecher (which my dictionary tells me is spring snowflake in English, the Latin name is Leucojum vernum). They look very similar to lily of the valley but are not poisonous.
