The cannon is real. It really shoots.
They shot the cannon at the carnival parade and afterwards I couldn’t hear a thing for quite a while.
You can see that the second photo is a bit fuzzy because I literally jumped when the cannon went off.

Thats quite a spectacular carnival you have. Our big explosions are when they burn the “böög” on the last evening, which is a dummy suffed with fireworks.
