Sticks and Stones, and a Monitor as well

Three textures for the price of one: This wall is part of the Heidelberg castle ruin, the old part of the wall propped up by a newly built wall. And the tree on the right shows off a different kind of texture.

The trunk of a date palm, the wooden protuberants and the fibrous mass in between providing a nice contrast.

Macro textures: twigs and moss on top of an old wall.

And now for something completely different: the skin on the back of a water monitor.
