Ludwigshafen (I usually hide these informations in the tags). That’s on the opposite side of Mannheim, in the Upper Rhine Valley, about 100km to the south of Frankfurt. It was a particularly murky day, close to sundown. It looks industrial, almost distopic but the chemical complex is surrounded by fruit and wine growing areas.

Hopefully the chemical plants’s wase will not adversely affect the surrounding vegetation people or wild life.

It’s said to be clean production. It was different in the 1950s, though. Food stuff is pretty well controlled in Germany nowadays.

I googled them. In fairness there are photos of pale flares and darker flares, and even of stylish ones (the Flairs). They all looked good THEN.

I know, I had many a pair but alas the jeans I have I can’t find. I wouldn’t model them as they are a bit small now. But one day………….😂
