I’ve mentioned before that because of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in the EU street photography has become difficult. It’s described as the toughest personal security law in the world. It basically says that every private person has the right to their own photo (or possibly even likeness?) – even if they are in a public space.
So I took a leaf out of Robert’s book – he does those wonderful double exposures of Hamburg. I just might be on the safe side this way.

This last one is not a double exposure. It was entrance of the Newcastle football stadium reflected in the window of a restaurant across the street (there was an open fire inside at the bottom of the window), I flipped it so that “Newcastle United” can be read properly.

Clever and effective stuff.

Glad you like it. You know … if life gives you lemons you make lemonade … if the EU gives you a new law …
