We went to a ropes course with the children this afternoon.I was the designated photographer. Looking at this picture, it brims with metaphors for “moving forward”, doesn’t it? It’s a wobbly staircase swinging high up in the trees. A false step and you might lose your footing. You can’t go back – not only is it more difficult than moving forward but there are others who are coming after you and you have to clear the way, somehow. And even if it feels perilous and you have to overcome your fear to take the next step, you are safely held by the harness and the rope. Trust yourself!

What a fabulous exerciser. I bet you volunteered to be the photographer so you couldn’t be goaded into doing it. Looks like fun 😀

I think I mentioned it on Becky’s site: A year ago I had to be abseiled because I couldn’t balance and kept slipping and after a while I didn’t have enough upper body strength to pull myself up. Nothing was hurt except my pride.

great exercise in balance. A skill we need to use as we age. So easy to lose it. Bernie
