It’s his endorsement of the Almanack And Booke Of Dayes, a book popular in outhouses throughout the Ramtops (the central mountain range of the disc, a very rural area, with more mountains than people). It’s printed on thin paper, which comes in handy. As the days pass, you can tear the pages out of the Almanack and put them, uhh, behind you. It is often the only book people read regularly.
