I was never a girlie girl and could probably be classed as a tomboy. Except when I visited my father in his office when I still little. Then I fantasized to be a princess.
Who could blame me if he worked in such a wonderful place?
No, dad wasn’t a king or even an earl but the late Graf von Berckheim sold his family’s castle to our town and it was transformed into the official town hall. My father worked in the planning department and I entered the castle through the main door, up the grand flight of steps, past a couple of naked ladies fashioned in black marble – and I felt like a princess.
Thanks to Neil Gaiman for the inspiration of the title.

You are very lucky to visit such an architectural beauty. It’s right that you felt like a princess. This pic does give the vibes of possessing magical powers to transfer you back in time.

That building is beautiful. How could you not feel like a princess?!

🧚🏽♀️ I could have felt like a knight, I suppose … (but I had to be quiet and wellbehaved when I walked up those stairs).

Thanks. I actually intend to go back one evening when there are less people around (it was an event).
