On Naturana Beach in Cyprus, there are lots of circles on stilts. They are numbered and registered and note the place of turtle nests.

We didn’t know about this before we got there. And I was very disappointed when I heard that we had arrived about 2 weeks early. We could not witness any turtelets hatching.

But imaging timing your holiday for this and then for some or other reason the turtles are early or late that year …

Thanks. As I wrote to Brian, unfortunately we were 2 weeks early and could not witness any hatching. But then again, we hadn’t known about the turtle nests before we got there.
