When I was cycling through the strawberry fields this spring, I noticed the porta-a-potties for the workers. “I am partly made out of recycled fishing nets” was written on it. I was impressed enough to stop and take a photo.
Then in summer we were at the French Mediterranean coast and I notice this sticker on a fishing boat:
It reads: “I recycle my nets”. I love it!

I’ve yet to see signs like those on British Porta-loos. I’ll keep looking …

This year there has been too many whales untangled from fishing nets. They should have the owners name on them so they can help pay for sea creatures rescues.
One of the things that should be preventable and makes me angry 😡
