From the cemetery in Brandau where dead from the second world war are buried. Some were soldiers, some weren’t. Some graves carry names, some don’t.
I always find those kind of ‘unknown’ graves so moving and unsettling.

I know what you mean. This particular cemetery has not only graves of soldiers but also of men and women who were forced to work in factories and on farms, usually of French, Polish and Russian nationalities, and amongst them a few children born to those women. This really shook me.
