You hadn’t heard of the Gruffalo (he with the knobbly knees, the wart on his noise, and enormous mouth?). A staple of children for the last 25 years. The German Gruffalo books (called “GrĆ¼ffelo”) are published in my hometown https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2024/10/08/the-german-home-of-the-gruffalo/
I’ve checked – I have almost 20 times featured the Gruffalo on my blog š
