According to the dictionary tawdry means cheap and tasteless. It’s a bit difficult to judge objects from other cultures but the two dolls were certainly cheap and I’ve seen much better craftsmanship on Taiwanese decorations. So these two qualify and I don’t think I can be accused of bigotry.
