Just before posting I realised that my photo looked like an AI enhanced image. I went back and here is the original:
I did tweak the first image but not all that much. No special settings on the camera either. They really looked like that.

Thank you. It’s always stunning. When we started out with our current garden (I didn’t know it was OUR garden, I thought it was the communal garden, and I was totally unprepared for what tree I’d want. On the spur of the moment I said magnolia because I love the white magnolias tinged with pink which are the first big blossoms around here. Unfortunately, I didn’t specify WHICH kind of magnolia and got a deep pink magnolia which I consider a lot less stunning than the lighter varieties, also the tree blooms about 2-3 weeks after the others.

Selection of varieties can cause a minor problem but those flowers are quite lovely still. Do the have a scent?
