Nice edits. I’d never have guessed, but I do love asparagus and actually had some at the weekend. Yummy!

Is that for the dreaded white asparagus? That’s a sight we don’t see here, as we eat our asparagus as green as nature intended!

Yes – but the covers are heat like a greenhouse. The earlier white asparagus can be sold at much better prices (for the producer not the buyers) and of course, they want to have lots to sell for Easter. There are other fields without covers, it’s about timing.
