On a local playground there is a little machine where you can create your own vortex by turning a handle really fast.

In Neil Gaiman’s Sandman there is a dream vortex which manifests as a young girl called Rose Walker.

A Rose is a Rose is a Rose is a vortex.

  2. I saw a video on YouTube a few days ago, in which a person created a vortex in a glass of water. He just attached 2 batteries to the glass and the vortex was created.
    Though it seemed illogical but I still want to try it myself 🙂
