That’s a song that reminisces about the time when there was an Austro-Hungarian Empire and Bohemia was part of that Empire, i.e. before the first world war. This the beer hall “Zum Schwanen” which opened in 1850 in Teplice (in today’s Czech Republic) and today it is called “Monopol” and still attached to a brewery.

    1. The beer is the best I’ve ever had, the food was good, the company great, and the service was very friendly. And we didn’t look like we belonged there (we went there after an exhausting hike and it had been very hot).
