The Feldbergpass is in the south of the Black Forest in Germany, the highest pass in the Black Forest and the second highest in Germany. And there is an inn right on top of it.
Except if you there in the middle of August and the weather has conspired against you and there is unseasonal rain and hail and fog. (It was a memorable GNH ( = German Nash Hash, i.e. our yearly meet of reprobates from all over Germany and neighbouring countries, and a handful of halfminds from the US and Australia).
The German word “Pass” was the first idea that I though of. We have many in Switzerland.

That wouldn’t be the best. At least you would have found things to do inside

We are halfminds. We enjoyed nature. Including a very soggy lunch.
