When I first started living near Darmstadt in 2005 the area southwest of the main station was brush. They started building sometime around 2010. These photos are from 2022.
The cities change so fast, don’t they? I was recently in Japan, and visited some places I had been to seven years ago. They were unrecognizable and I even forgot for a few nights that I had stayed in the same hotel as I did on a previous visit.
Well there are lots of reason to proceed slowly in Europe. Much more heritage there. Interestingly, in Japan they don’t value the old, unless it is a shrine of course. They knock down and rebuild new.
