Many of the houses in the Martinsviertel in Darmstadt are more storey buildings from around the turn of the century (19th to 20th century, not the millenium). They were not free standing houses but terraced houses, originally with uniform looks. But more than 100 years later they have different owners and the front of the houses look differently by keeping the main features.






I love comparing these different looks.

Ein Ausflug nur nach diesem Vierteil in DA würde sich rentieren, da gibt es interessante Häuser. Mathildenhöhe auch, aber das kenne ich nicht so.
