Zu alt, um nur zu spielen. Zu jung, um ohne Wunsch zu sein.

A close encounter of the bovine kind

She was examining me, I was examining her. She was a young cow, almost still a calf, really. I decided to come closer (just a bit in real life, more so with my camera).

Did you know that cow mouths and noses sweat?

This young beauty was sporting a fancy rump hairstyle.

Maybe that made her a bit vain, anyway, I don’t think I impressed her much.

Auto perception

or bicycle perspective?

For the final square for July, I thought I’ll go for a selfie of sorts. It is a reflection of myself (a flattering one at that as the street mirror elongated me just a smidgen) and self-reflection is always a good start to get a new perception of the world.

The Red Tower

I was out on my bike tonight at around sunset and caught the Red Tower with the wide Rhine valley behind it just at the right moment. It is one of three still remaining towers which were part of the town wall of Weinheim.

Dramatic perspective

We all love a good show and this cow was prepared to give me one. Before she played dead (good one, ey?!) she shook her head at me and then slowly, very theatrically keeled over.

Gulp

Maybe the message claiming that the company Infastaub (infa dust) can give you pure air to breathe is enhanced by the murky weather conditions. Possibly. Looking at it I feel like I have to surface for a gulp of fresh air, like this fellow:
