Loosestrife


I found two common names for this flower: gooseneck flower or loosestrife. The Latin name is lysimachia barystachys.

I suspect that this spider monkey has naturally a resting bitch face but boy! does he look cantankerous. Would you like to pick a quarrel with him?

(I actually don’t know if it is a he or she – they are apparently difficult to distinguish from each other – but it seems wrong to call it an “it”.)
