I’m a cat person. I’ve tried dogs and it didn’t work. But if there is one dog that could change my mind, it is Kobi.

He is the most charming, the calmest, most relaxed, and also obedient dog. He will sit next to you when you’re eating, not openly begging just letting you know that if you felt like sharing some of your food, he’d be there. When you put down your plate and get up, he will not touch your plate, not sniff your food, just wait patiently for you to return. And let you know that he is still willing to share some of your food.





Unfortunately, Kobi is taken.
I don’t stand a chance.

They are watching me.
If you live with a cat you have to get used to being observed, very calmly.
Even when not wielding a can opener, Henry is there, watching me.
But other cats observe me, too.


Sometimes they do it openly.


Sometimes more clandestinely.


Watching is one thing. But most of the time I’m feeling judged as well.
So many signs are forbidding something. (NB: I translated more literally than idiomatically.)
Some signs are wordier than others.

Some are curt but add the forbidding authority to add force.
Some may have an acceptable reasoning behind it.
Some might. Or might not.
Some seem to be put up out of spite. Or maybe not.
So I really appreciate a sign like this.
But even then, some restrictions might be a good idea.
In any case, it might be a good idea to read signs properly
even if only for self preservation.
But the most important sign which I try to follow in my life:
