Columbus in Europe
ESA’s Spacelab, called Columbus, was the European Space Agency’s contribution to the International Space Station ISS. A 1:1 model can be seen in the Technikmuseum in Speyer in Germany.

Getting Lost along the Way
has never happened to any hasher ever. HA!
To be clear, I’m talking about hashers who run (or walk), members of the Hash House Harriers. Although we drudge through weeds, it’s got nothing to do with weed.
German Children’s Favourite Imp
is called Pumuckl. He comes from a long line of seafaring forebears but has for the time being settled in Munich in the workshop of a carpenter.
He has lived through various mediums over the last 60 years: children’s books, radio serialisaton, long playing records and music tapes, a tv series, a muscial, and now, apparently, crochet.
PS: In Germany it is has been judicially forbidden that parents name their child Pumuckl. Regardless of their hair colour.
PPS: Yes, I did crochet this doll and another one for two of our grandchildren.
And then Arnold Got Ready
and stormed off creating a fracas that reverberated in the whole flock.
