Admittedly NOT a weekend sky but memorable enough to share this weekend. On Wednesday evening we finally had some rain – and two rainbows for good measure.
During the night there was a heavy downpour accompanied by high winds, possibly even a storm. One tree on our school parking space broke in two, so more than possibly a storm. Temperatures are up again, it’s humid and there are insubstantial clouds.

I always enjoyed children’s books. Not just Dr. Seuss but Erich Kästner, Maurice Sendak, Hans Fischer, Eric Carlé, and of course, Julia Donaldson and Alex Scheffler who wrote and illustrated The Gruffalo.
