Pernicious Weather
Rain in moderate amounts is good. Snow is not harmful. But hail can definitely be pernicious for my garden.
A Strong Fragrance
This is a shrub of the genus Oleaceae, in German the common name is Duftblüte (i.e. “fragrant bloom”) and if my nose remembers correctly it is well deserved

A Fancy Beer Hall
This was in Teplice in the Czech Republic. Pivovar Kavarna used to be the Monopol, when Bohemia was still a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and people spoke German and their beer halls were quite fancy.
