(Don’t) Be So Negative!

about this negative. Sometimes the negative image of photo brings out details a lot more three dimensional than the original. I found this old withered crest made of sandstone on the side of the Speyer Cathedral. Lilies and shells – I don’t know what family the crest belongs to, nor the meaning of it except in the generic sense. The shells are probably a reference to the Camino de Santiago or Way of St James or Jakobsweg. Similar the three lilies might reference France.

FOWC with Fandango: Negative
