It was the end of a wine walk (a ramble in the vineyards with various stops where food and wine from different wineries are on offer) and we came on this abandoned bottle and glasses. It was the leftovers of a sublime day – at least what I remember of it.
Hirschberg was formed in 1975 by combining Großsachsen and Hirschberg, two neighbouring towns on the Bergstraße, just south of Heidelberg. The new municipality needed a new town hall and they built one with lots of windows.
