I’m a Fan of this Russian-Orthodox Church
This is the Russian-orthodox church on the Neroberg in Wiesbaden. We were there this weekend and the weather was just awful so I didn’t carry a camera. But even in the grey light of the late afternoon the golden domes of the spires were stunning. So here is a photo from a few years back and a promise that I will go back on a sunny day to take more photos.
Bar-headed Goose
One Word Sunday’s prompt was “peep” and I showed a goose peeping from under its wing. This shot is another goose but a bit more demure.

Anoia!

The discworld, as created by Terry Pratchett, is populated by many different gods. One of the minor goddesses is Anoia, the Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers. Anoia is praised by rattling a drawer and crying “How can it close on the damned thing but not open with it? Who bought this? Do we ever use it?”
In our household, we praise her often. More information can be found in Pratchett’s books. Or read about her in the lspace wiki which is a site dedicated to all things discworld.
